X Factor sources have confirmed that despite some criticisms last year, they plan to conduct this year’s auditions in front of a live audience again.
Many critics argued that the public auditions were humiliating for the bad acts and ruined the atmosphere of the show. However bosses feel that the thousands of people watching the tryouts, helped the show achieve it’s highest ratings ever.
An insider told The Sun: “The auditions were criticised but the series as a whole felt much bigger, borne out by the ratings.
“It was the most successful yet.”
